OUR VISION

Glen Mar is a Christian church that invites and welcomes all. Through worship, Bible study, and small groups, we seek to deepen our relationships with God and grow together as a caring community. We are equipped and encouraged to serve others and share God's love as followers of Jesus Christ.

Glen Mar’s vision rests on four core understandings:
• God never gives a blessing as a reward for past service, but always as a means of equipping us to love and serve God and our neighbors. (Genesis 12:3: I will bless you…so that you will be a blessing.)
• When we are seeking to do what God is calling us to do, God will provide whatever is needed. (John 15:16: I chose you, and put you in the world to bear fruit. As fruit bearers, whatever you ask the Father in relation to me, he gives you.)
• God has given every individual gifts for ministry. (Ephesians 4:7: Out of the generosity of Christ, each of us is given our own gift.)
• We as a congregation, are called to grow. (Matthew 28:19: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life.)
