Men’s Choir Expanding and Rehearsal Schedule Changing

VBS Orientation Training: Fri., Jun. 9, 7 - 8:15 p.m.
This special training is designed for new youth and adult volunteers, and for returning volunteers who would like a refresher course on their job placement and VBS safety procedures.
Learn to be a Safe Sanctuary Trainer: Thu., Jun. 8, 7 - 8:30 p.m.
Care about Glen Mar Kids and Youth Safety? Are you willing to train as a trainer for the Safe Sanctuary Program? All Glen Mar programs with youth and kids are required to use Safe Sanctuary trained teachers and leaders. On Thursday, June 8, 7:00 p.m. a 90-minute Train the Trainer session is scheduled. After that, the role is for trainers to train program volunteers on second Sundays, alternating between 11:00 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. start times, on a rotating schedule. Come build dreams with us! Second Saturdays of every month. Meet at Glen Mar in the morning to carpool. Times vary, and will be announced right before the workday. $38,600 Raised for Grassroots through Auction and Golf Classic
Thank you to all who support the Glen Mar Silent Auction and Glen Mar Golf Classic! Through these efforts, $38,600 was raised for Grassroots to help them carry out their mission of helping those in need.
Grassroots Meals Ministry Needs Additional Volunteers
For many years, Glen Mar servants have provided meatloaves and milk for 40 residents the 4th Tuesday monthly. The number has now grown to 50 - 60 and additional help is needed. Gift card sales Continue to Return about 5% of Sales
Proceeds go to the Mission Ministry Support Fund and many other ministries. Families have also earned over $50,000 in family accounts to helpoffset their mission trip costs. Thank you to all the families that have helped total gift card sales surpass $4 million. Grassroots 'Immediate Needs' collected all year long
The Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center's Family Shelter and the Rt. 1 Day Resource Center (DRC) are always in need of essential items such as toiletries, nonperishable food, or new or slightly-used clothing and blankets. Look for the blue shopping lists with specific seasonal needs that are updated and available in The Gathering Place kiosk, Welcome Center, and near the collection bin on the lower level, or download the list here.
