VIM Seeking Sponsors for Haiti School
Mission Training #2: Sat., Apr. 22, 2017: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
For all youth and adults participating in ANY summer youth mission trip. Meet others, learn about the possible impact of stereotypes, and mission trip specifics. Training sessions are critical for individual preparation and team unity.
Sign Up Now for Youth Summer Mission Trips
Youth currently in 6th grade and older are eligible to go on a mission trip this summer.
- West Virginia: June 4-10, $300/person for current 12th graders and collegians
- Hurley #1: June 25-July 1, $400/person, 8th grade and older
- Hurley #2: July 2-8, $400/person, 8th grade and older
- Baltimore Mission Camp: July 24-28, $125/person, 6th grade and older

Habitat for Humanity: 2nd Saturdays in Baltimore

Grassroots 'Immediate Needs' collected all year long
The Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center's Family Shelter and the Rt. 1 Day Resource Center (DRC) are always in need of essential items such as toiletries, nonperishable food, or new or slightly-used clothing and blankets. Look for the blue shopping lists with specific seasonal needs that are updated and available in The Gathering Place kiosk, Welcome Center, and near the collection bin on the lower level, or download the list here
Giant Food Shoppers: Thank you

Grassroots Donations and Meals Needed
Grocery donations needed all year for both the Grassroots Crisis Intervention's Family and Rt. 1 Day Shelters. Pick up a “needs lists” at the Welcome Center or ministry kiosk in the Gathering Place. Donations may be left in the bin on the lower level.
Meatloaf and milk, to be served to the Family Shelter residents for dinner, are needed on the 4th Tuesday of each month. Contact Linda Hunt, firstname.lastname@example.org, 410-964-0180.
