SUMMARY:Advent Bible Study
DESCRIPTION: Begins the week of November 21, 2021\nShort-Term Bible Study\n\nThis Advent, we will be studying “Light of the World: A Beginner’s Guide to Advent,” by Amy Jill Levine.  It is a 4-session study where we dive deep into the history of the birth of Christ, tracing the Christmas narrative through the stories of Zechariah and Elizabeth, Mary, the journey to Bethlehem, and the visit from the Magi.\nWe will be forming new groups for this study, plus encouraging existing Growth Groups ( https://glenmarumc.org/my-glen-mar/#growth_groups ) and individuals to join along. There will be opportunities to participate in-person as well as via Zoom. There will be an associated sermon series too.\nLearn more about the study and the associated book that will need to be purchased by participants here.\nWe hope that you will join one of these groups, or purchase a book and follow along individually or with family or friends.
