DESCRIPTION:Saturday, October 25, 1:30 – 3:30 pm\nFirst Fruits Farm is a nonprofit, Christian ministry dedicated to providing fresh, nutritious food for the hungry through volunteer service and community partnerships. Glen Mar has an opportunity to help with harvesting and/or packaging produce for distribution to area food banks on Saturday, October 25. \nRegistration through the First Fruits Farm event page is required. If it’s your first time volunteering, you will need to create a volunteer profile. Children younger than 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.\nWe’ll meet in the Glen Mar ELC parking lot at noon to carpool or caravan together. Wear clothes that can get dirty and solid shoes. Bring a water bottle and gloves. We may get ice cream afterwards if the group is interested. Contact Valerie with questions.\n
