Throughout the year, Glen Mar receives gifts from congregation members to support church ministries and missions that also allow people to take advantage of tax laws beneficial for charitable gifts. Here is some useful information on several options.

On October 2, 2021, Glen Mar Church hosted a Blessing of the Animals service. The community was invited to bring their pets, large and small, furry or scaled, for this special blessings and to celebrate the love and joy animals bring to our lives.
The Glen Mar Summer Concert Series has been approved to receive a $3,964 grant from the Howard County Arts Council in 2022.
The concert series is an outreach program that offers free concerts for people in Central Maryland and beyond. It features nationally and internationally known artists performing a variety of music. All concerts in the series are held at Glen Mar Church.
