Monday, January 16, 2023 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
"Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'" - Martin Luther King, Jr.
Everyone is welcome to the ninth annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service, which will be an ‘in-person’ event hosted by Glen Mar Church, with Ames Memorial UMC and St. John Baptist Church as our co-hosts.
What is Day of Service?
The Day of Service provides family-friendly short-term service activities for ages 5 to 105. Activities at MLK, Jr. Day of Service connect us to the community so that our grandparents, parents, young adults, and children can show their love to our neighbors. It will meet some of the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in our local community. Our collective efforts will make the community more resilient and healthier place.
