Baltimore, MD: July 27-31, 2020
Our local "Mission Camp" features daily service projects at various non-profit organizations such as Manna House Soup Kitchen, Habitat for Humanity Restore, Civic Works Real Food Farm, Helping Up Mission, Our Daily Bread, Paul's Place, and Little Flowers Early Childhood and Development Center. Participants meet at Glen Mar each morning at 8 a.m. and then go into Baltimore to serve. At the end of each day, we meet back at Glen Mar for an evening meal and fellowship together. Participants are free to leave the church at 6:30 p.m.

**Update on Mar. 21 Training Session: With the two-week closing of Glen Mar Church, the first mission trip training session will be a combination of online and later in-person make-up training. We need to build a sense of community here to prepare us for the summer mission trips. A link to this year's digital mission training #1 will be available on Sat., Mar. 21 starting at 10 a.m. The link will be posted here when it is available. Please be in thoughtful prayer as we deal with the health concern, and look out for yourself and others.
With the closures currently affecting Glen Mar, individuals are encouraged to secure their spot on a mission trip with a $50 deposit in the form of a check, which can be mailed to Glen Mar UMC, Attn: Sean Danaher, 4701 New Cut Road, Ellicott City, MD 21043. Be sure to include all mission attendees' names and trips on the memo line. Ex: "John Smith: Hurley 1, Baltimore."
