Throughout the year, there are numerous people working behind the scenes to make Glen Mar Church a place where people are rooted in the life-giving message of Jesus Christ. Take some time to check out the many ways that you can offer your time, gifts, experience and passions.

Kitchen Ministry
Join the Kitchen Ministry team for opportunities to share your culinary skills at fundraisers and fellowship meals. The team is also always on the lookout for people who enjoy cleaning and organization or keeping and maintaining an inventory of supplies. To join the team, or for more information, contact Alison Mannino,
Landscaping Ministry
Throughout the spring, summer and fall, members of our community help maintain several small gardens across Glen Mar's 21 acres. If you would like to help with the beautification of Glen Mar's campus, contact Alison Mannino,
Nehemiah Team
The members of the Nehemiah Team lend their experience in construction, electrical work or plumbing to assist with the upkeep and improvement of Glen Mar's facilities. If you would like to offer your time and talents, contact Alison Mannino,
Tech Team
Support for technology at Glen Mar Church is provided by our Tech Team. This is a laity-led ministry that provides consultation, installation, operation, training, maintenance, and acquisition of the church's technology infrastructure.

The Tech Team's calling is to enable technology in support of and for use by the various ministries at Glen Mar. One of two primary focuses, and the most visible to the church, is the use of technology in worship; the second focus is the church's technology infrastructure, including the audio-visual systems in various classrooms, desktop computers, servers, networking infrastructure and information displays. The Tech Team also trains and certifies operators in the use of the technology to support the various ministries at the church.

The use of and need for technology in support of the ministries at Glen Mar continues to grow. When there is a need for technology within a ministry area, the Tech Team works directly with that ministry to determine the technology requirements, costs, and implementation to best support that ministry. Since the Tech Team interacts with all ministry areas, the Team incorporates the visions for many different ministry areas into comprehensive solutions that benefit broad areas of ministry at Glen Mar. If you have any questions about the Tech Team or using technology in ministry, please contact

Chair Ministry
The flexible nature of our worship space (the Spirit Center) allows us to provide a home for other ministries and community groups throughout the week. At the same time, it requires us to set up and tear down our seating for worship each weekend.

We rely on a team of people to help set the stage for worship each Saturday evening by setting up our chairs and chancel area. Another team stays after the 11:00 service to transform the Spirit Center for Sunday night youth events. Many hands make light work, so we are always looking for more people to lend a few minutes of their time. To participate in the chair ministry or to find out more, contact Larry Albrecht,

Counting Team
Each Sunday morning, at least two adults work alongside a head counter to account for the tithes and offerings received during Glen Mar's weekend church services, as well as any revenue generated by the week's fundraisers or events. Counters serve on a rotation basis. To become a part of the rotation, or for more information, contact Bob Henry,
Sunday Snow Removal
During the winter months, there are times when we experience snowfall on a Sunday morning. In order to ensure the safety of our worshipers, we rely on a team of individuals to help our facilities staff shovel walkways and apply salt to icy areas. To lend a hand, contact Larry Albrecht,

(Note: In cases of significant snow accumulation, we make every effort to post any notices about delays or cancellations on our website by 6:00 a.m.)

Office Support
There is a lot that happens at Glen Mar during the week, and the office is a busy place! We are always looking for willing servants to assist with administrative tasks such as copying, filing, data entry, assembling materials to be mailed, and other activities that vary by season. These small, behind-the-scenes projects make a huge impact in the life of the church. To assist in the office, or for more information, contact Alison Mannino,
