Summer Concert Series to Continue with Strong Support
In 2024, Glen Mar’s Summer Concert Series’ cup runneth over with support. It was blessed with a $5,500 grant from the Howard County Arts Council, a generous donation from “Friends of the Music Program at Glen Mar Church,” a substantial contribution in memory of Karen Angle, and the sponsorship of Harry H. Witzke’s Family Funeral Home in Ellicott City. [Read more]
Youth Group this fall!
After a full summer of mission trips, dinner and a movie nights, flip flop art and game nights and much more, we have had a great start to the fall semester. Sunday night youth group has included fun activities like a life-sized video game night and a scavenger hunt. We also had a bible themed escape room where the youth evaded Saul as he persecuted early Christians. Our youth also serve the world on Sunday nights by packing hygiene kits for UMCOR to distribute to people in need. [Read more]
Scrumptious Dinners Raise Money for Cancer!
Glen Mar’s Angels for a Cure team is very grateful to people who supported its Outback Steakhouse dinner fundraiser on October 9, 2024. The purchase of 96 dinners translated into $1,121 raised for the American Cancer Society. An additional $120 was donated. [Read more]

NC Bed-build summary here?
