- Devotional Journal – The theme of our Mission Possible Sermon Series is “Reaching the Goal” – a race in faith, requiring the use of spiritual disciplines of prayer, fasting, scripture reading, worship, etc. We invite you to use this 21-day devotional journal, a wonderful resource, during the weekdays starting on Monday, May 15 – June 12. - Bayside Big Band Concert – Friday, May 19 at 7:00 pm – Bayside Big Band is the first event is Glen Mar’s Summer Concert Series. This concert will be held outside. Rain? (Pray for no rain!) we’ll move it to the Spirit Center. Enjoy the music of famous big bands from the 1930s to the present day. - Fun Run – Saturday, June 10 from 9:00 – 11:00 am – We’re having a church-wide Fun Run on Glen Mar grounds and we need some volunteers! Don’t wanna run? Join the fun as a volunteer. Join us for our last lunch for the season (September through May). We’re a group of “seasoned citizens” (55 and up) who meet in the lower lobby for fellowship, fun and, of course, lunch. You’re Invited to Relay For Life, Saturday, June 3 from 3:00 – 9:00 pm
We’re at Howard Community College’s Track & Field this year. Glen Mar’s “Angels for a Cure” team will be there for this free, community-based, fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. Cancer survivors are welcome to attend the reception at this relay and need to RSVP at www.relayforlife.org/BaltimoreHowardMD/. Honor a loved one or a special occasion by sponsoring one or two altar flower arrangements for a weekend. To sign up for an available weekend, fill out a flower envelope.
