- Mini Ministry Fair – THIS Sunday, May 28 from 10:30 – 11:00 am. Mission Possible: Reaching the Goal exercise here! Join us for a tangible opportunity to explore how we are called to take the baton! We will be set up in the Gathering Place and ready to show and tell why we are so passionate about the ministries here at Glen Mar Church. When you sign up, we’ll pass you the baton and encourage you to pass it to someone else!
- New Members Class – Lunch w/the Pastors – Sunday, June 4 – 12:30 pm. Join us for a special New Member Class – for people who want to join Glen Mar Church! - Ministry Town Hall – Tuesday, June 6 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. Learn about the rich tapestry of opportunities available to you, from outreach programs to worship teams and more, and you can engage with passionate individuals who will share their experiences, insights, and the transformative power of these ministries. - Fun Run – Saturday, June 10 from 9:00 – 11:00 am. Fun Run/Walk for All Ages! Join us for a 1 mile fun run (or walk or ride in a wagon/stroller) right here on our property. Get some fresh air and celebrate God’s faithfulness in carrying us “this far by faith!” Prizes for most colorful outfit, youngest run/walker, best hairdo, etc. Let us know you’re coming – register today. Bayside Big Band – Summer Concert Kickoff Success!
Bayside Big Band kicked off the first event in Glen Mar’s 2023 Summer Concert Series with a flawless performance on May 19. This free outdoor event entertained 350 people. Thank you all for coming out on such a BEAUTIFUL night!

You’re Invited to Relay For Life, Saturday, June 3 from 3:00 – 9:00 pm
We’re at Howard Community College’s Track & Field this year. Glen Mar’s “Angels for a Cure” team will be there for this free, community-based, fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. Cancer survivors are welcome to attend the reception at this relay and need to RSVP at www.relayforlife.org/BaltimoreHowardMD/. Be SMART: Gun Violence Prevention Event – Monday, June 5 from 7:00 – 8:00 pm
Firearms are now the leading cause of death among children in the United States. Come learn about the Be SMART program, a framework that parents, caretakers, and community leaders can follow to help keep their communities safe. The Be SMART message helps parents and adults normalize conversations about gun safety and take responsible actions that can prevent child gun deaths & injuries. Be SMART addresses our concerns about the connection between suicide, firearms, and safe storage. Join the conversation! We are meeting in Room 145 at Glen Mar. HOLA Toastmasters of Ellicott City – Next Meeting is Tuesday, June 6 at 7:30 pm
Conquer that fear of public speaking in a safe, warm, friendly atmosphere. We meet twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday evenings at 7:30 pm. Celebration Sunday and All Church Picnic – Sunday, June 11 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm
Come to Celebration Sunday worship services on Sunday, June 11 where we will commit ourselves to the Mission Possible race of Reaching the Goal. Following Sunday services all are invited to a church-wide picnic at noon, featuring a barbecue style menu prepared by George Dohner and crew. The annual MS Ride will be on the Eastern Shore, MD, June 17 & 18, to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of MD/DC. We have new members on the team this year!
