You made Christmas special for so many people this year with your support for the Wish Upon A Star ministry. About 130 people received their gift wishes plus grocery cards this past Christmas. I’m sure each family felt the love that you put into each purchase. Each year it is overwhelming to see the generosity of Glen Mar.

The individuals who received presents through this program were selected by our partner organizations: Howard County Public School System, HopeWorks of Howard County, Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center, Board of Child Care, Ames United Methodist Church, Eva Johnson Foundation and Hurley Development Center. This year’s support included:

• 440 gifts
• $3,000 in grocery gift cards
• $2,000 in gift cards to Grassroots
• $2,000 to Hurley Development Center

In addition to the over 120 people and families who donated gifts, gift cards, or financial support to WUAS this year, Glen Mar’s Youth Group also participated in this program. They used one of their meetings to learn about WUAS and people served by the program, then went to the store to purchase just the right items for their recipient.

Thank you, Glen Mar. You made a difference this year to so many who would not have felt that special blessing of receiving the items they wished for on Christmas morning!
