Cold Weather Shelter

February 23 – March 1, 2026

In collaboration with Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center, local faith congregations, including Glen Mar, rally each year to provide food and support for those in need in Howard County. This year, Glen Mar’s sponsored week for the Cold Weather Shelter (CWS) is set to run from February 23 to March 1.

There are many ways to help: meal prep at Glen Mar, volunteering at Grassroots, providing bulk food and hygiene items, and making monetary donations toward food purchases. Please see additional information on the Cold Weather Shelter webpage for details about volunteering and donating.
