Advent Bible Study

This Advent, we will be studying “Light of the World: A Beginner’s Guide to Advent,” by Amy Jill Levine.  It is a 4-session study where we dive deep into the history of the birth of Christ, tracing the Christmas narrative through the stories of Zechariah and Elizabeth, Mary, the journey to Bethlehem, and the visit from the Magi.

We will be forming new groups for this study, plus encouraging existing Growth Groups and individuals to join along. There will be opportunities to participate in-person as well as via Zoom. There will be an associated sermon series too.

Online sign-ups begin on October 31 and will continue through November 21. Or, sign up in the Gathering Place after worship services on Oct. 31, Nov. 7, and Nov. 14.
