Ayreheart

Ayreheart, a progressive folk trio, will perform at the second free event in the Glen Mar’s 2022 Summer Concert Series. The trio will take the church’s Spirit Center stage on Friday, August 12 from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

This group, founded by lutenist Ronn McFarlane in 2010, will play Ronn’s original music, as well as Renaissance and Celtic songs. The other Ayreheart trio members are Willard Morris who plays bass, violin and colascione (a bass cousin of the lute) and percussionist Mattias Rucht.

Glen Mar should feel like home to Ronn because he attended this church until he was 17 years old. His parents, W. Lee and Mary McFarlane, were charter members here.

Childcare will not be available, but children are welcome.
