Second Annual Iftar Dinner

Glen Mar Church and MARTI (Maryland Turkish-American Inhabitants) will once again have the joy of sharing an Iftar dinner on Sunday, February 22, 5:30 – 7:30 pm. An Iftar dinner is the fast-breaking meal for Muslims during the holy month of Ramadan, and many Muslims find this a wonderful opportunity to share hospitality.
The meal will take place at Glen Mar, and the food will be provided by MARTI. We will enjoy dinner, fellowship, learning about each other, and hopefully, the making of new friends. The goal of the evening is to build community, one relationship at a time. People of all ages are invited, and childcare will be provided. There will be an opportunity to share in the cost of the food if you desire, but it is not required.
Please sign up as soon as you can! We will cap the attendance at 100 persons total, with half from Glen Mar and half from MARTI. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends and learn more about one of the many groups in the area committed to living in a supportive and peaceful environment.
