Summer Mission Trip Information Meeting

Learn all about this summer’s mission trips for youth at an information meeting. You’ll learn about where we’re going, who can go, how much it costs, and what you need to do to prepare. You’ll also hear from past participants as they share what going on a mission trip has meant to them along with fun details.

This summer there will be two very different week-long experiences allowing participants to help build and repair homes, feed the hungry, help those in need, but most of all to build relationships with homeowners, host organizations, local communities, and fellow Glen Mar members.  We’re very serious when we refer to these trips as “relational ministry with construction on the side.” 

June 22-28 we’ll return to Windsor, North Carolina for home repair with Carolina Rebuilding Ministry. This trip is for current 8th graders and older.

July 21-25 marks the return of Baltimore Mission Week, a chance to serve in the Baltimore area while sleeping in your own bed. Participants will do a variety of ministry activities (different each day), including working at soup kitchens, clothing closets, food banks, kids’ camps, urban farms, etc. We will start and end at Glen Mar each day, but everyone will return to their own homes each evening. Current 6th graders and older can participate in this trip.
