Sermon Series – Under Wraps: The Gift We Never Expected

Sundays, November 30 – December 21 and Christmas Eve

Our Advent series, based on the Abingdon Press Study, “Under Wraps: The Gift We Never Expected,” invites us, as a church family, to walk through Advent with a renewed sense of wonder. Throughout Advent, we will look at God as being expectant, dangerous, jealous, and faithful, and how all of these, expected and unexpected attributes of God, are revealed in Jesus Christ. Each week’s theme will help us pay attention to the quiet, surprising ways God shows up, reminding us that the heart of Christmas is a gift we could never have predicted but one we deeply need.
