Have you noticed? Healthy aging is a topic getting a lot of attention these days from blogs to magazine articles, from commercials to medical research. But did you know that one of the key factors that contributes to people aging in a healthy way is an ever-deepening spiritual life? It’s true! Statistics point to an involvement in a faith community and a meaningful spiritual life as two of the strongest indicators of greater longevity and better health.

Although somebody might try to convince you “there’s an app for that” Glen Mar has something much better: the 9-week small group study, Aging and the Spiritual Journey, coming this spring on Wednesdays, March 31 through May 26, 10:30 am-noon. While there is already a waitlist for this study, there are still several spaces available. We look at aging from a spiritual standpoint, at the same time we are building relationships, exploring Christian scriptures, and doing personal reflection. If you would like more information, have any questions, or would like to sign up and secure a spot, contact Cathie Leimenstoll.
