All Saints’ Day is a time of remembrance where Christians of the past and present from all corners of the earth are honored. Saints from all times are honored as the “great crowd of witnesses” that have gone before us, lived faithfully and shared their light and faith with us.
All Saints’ Day will be observed in worship on Sunday, November 7, 2021, at both the 9:30 am and 11:00 am services.

Charge Conference

Sunday, October 17, from 1:30 – 3:00 pm via Zoom
The charge conference is the basic governing body of the local United Methodist Church. It is the “business meeting” of the church. It connects the local church to the general Church. Charge conferences must be held at least once per year. It is made up of all of the members of the church council and all members have the right to vote. The primary role of the charge conference is to review and assess the mission and ministries of the church. This includes recommending and/or affirming candidates for ordination, evaluating pastor compensation packages, and overall ministries of the church. The district superintendent or designated elder presides at the meeting.

Dear Glen Mar,
I wanted to share with you that our beloved Ron Stevens has passed away following a battle with cancer. His service celebrating his life will be on Tuesday, Oct. 12 at 10 am at Haight Funeral Home on Rt. 32, with burial following at Lakewood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, Oct. 11 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
