Do you enjoy knitting and crocheting or would you like to learn? We need you in our prayer shawl group. Prayer shawls are given to those in hospital and those in need of special care as a reminder that others care and are praying for them. The group is also making baby blankets for our newborns and scarves for our armed forces.

Glen Mar’s Confirmation Class will be participating in the 30 Hour Famine on February 24 and 25. The goal is to go without food for 30 hours to fight world hunger. While fasting, our confirmands will learn about the challenges of poverty while growing closer to God and each other.

On Saturday, November 12, 2022, Glen Mar Church hosted its second free community health fair. All were welcome for several health-related services and information. Our guests received a welcoming greeting at the door with a welcome and a smile; graciously shown were to find health services; and then received opportunities for multiple health related services. As they were leaving, they were offered free at home COVID testing kits; information about Christmas events at Glen Mar; and given a large ‘Have a blessed day’ greeting.
