One of 50 churches supporting the Grassroots Rt. 1 Day Resource Center, Glen Mar provides usually provides lunch on the 4th Saturday of every month.

8-10 adult volunteers are needed to prepare one or more dishes, half of whom will stay to serve lunch on site or do other jobs (e.g., greeter, shower/laundry monitor, pantry).

About the Day Resource Center

This ministry serves the homeless along the Rt. 1 corridor, providing showers, laundry, clothing, internet access, phone, mailing address, basic living supplies, conversation and referrals to social services.
