The 6th Annual ‘Jewels for Hope’ at Glen Mar Church on November 5, 2022 was a big success on so many fronts!

• We made close to $21,000, which was our largest result to date. (It turns out that our Jewels for Hope event is Hope Works’ largest fundraiser.)
• On the day of the sale, we had 40-50 people stop by the Hope Works information table to inquire about Hope Works’ mission, its volunteer opportunities, its programs, etc.
• We were able to hand out “Walk to Bethlehem” notices to every buyer.
• In addition, all of the leftover winter scarves were packed up and sent to Ukraine.

Overall the team was very happy with the results.

It takes a large team of dedicated volunteers to make such an event successful. We have such a team at Glen Mar. Thank you to the many members who helped to make the 6th annual Jewels for Hope event so successful!
