On May 16 and 17, 2026, eight members of Glen Mar will participate in a bike ride on the Eastern Shore in support of the MS Society. These riders are Team Captain Phyllis Cook, with David Ward, Robert Boyle, Joanne Miliner, Jeff Wetstone, Edward Frere, Fran Frere, and Kristin Dan. This team (named MS Riders on the Storm) was formed 12 years ago and in that time, it has raised over $100,000 for the MS Society of Maryland/DC. If you would like to make a donation to the MS Society, please contact any of the riders for a link to their donation page on the MS Chesapeake Challenge website.

In addition, a fundraising day will be held at Tino’s Italian Bistro in Columbia on May 4, 2026.

A percentage of all orders that day will be donated to this team to help support the mission of the MS Society to find a cure for multiple sclerosis and to help people who are living with this disease.
