Dear Glen Mar friends,

In a world often clouded by brokenness and need, Jesus shines as our unwavering light. This week will start our next worship series, Light the Way, which will invite us to reflect on Christ as the Light of the World—and how we are called to carry that light forward through faithful stewardship. Join us as we explore how generosity, service, and commitment can illuminate the path for others and reflect God’s glory in our daily lives. I hope you’ll join us in worship! It would be such a joy to see everyone, every Sunday!

From May 4 to June 8, we will be celebrating the great things God has done in our 7 years together as pastor and congregation. We’ll be in prayer about how God is calling us all to shine our light here at Glen Mar Church through stewardship of our time, talents and treasures. June 8 will be my last Sunday with you, as Eric and I move to NC to care for aging parents and in-laws that all live there, and it’s also Pentecost, Confirmation, and Commitment Sunday for our annual Mission and Ministry (Operating) fund. Your gifts to this fund pay for everything that happens at Glen Mar and beyond except for the mortgage. One of the best gifts you can give both Pastor Chris and me is to step up in financial support of this amazing church.
