Happy Friday, Glen Mar!

I hope you had a great week! Still, I know some within our church community are feeling the pinch of the Government shutdown. If that’s you, please let us know if there is any way that we can assist you during this time, and also please know that you and your colleagues in government service are in our prayers.

Today I simply want to invite you to our 2025 Church Conference, which will be held in two weeks, on Saturday, October 18 at Wesley Freedom UMC in Sykesville, MD, at 9:00 am. We will gather together with other UMC churches in our newly formed Ellicott City Hub and celebrate together and share with one another all that God has been doing in the life of our churches. Every Glen Mar member is invited to attend and see what our connectional system looks like at a local level. I hope you can join us, for it is good to gather together as the body of Christ!

Have a blessed weekend, and I hope to see you in worship on Sunday when we will continue our series, “What Disciples Do,” by discussing how “Disciples Take Their Faith Home.” Can’t wait to see you then!
