How do I find Realm? (training video)

HOW TO LOG INTO REALM-CONNECT

1. Go to www.glenmarumc.org.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
3. Look for ‘My Glen Mar’ on the lower right under the section titled, “Quick Links”.
4. Click on the teal colored ‘REALM CONNECT’ icon.
5. Select ‘Click here to login the Realm Connect’.
6. Select ‘Sign Up’ if this is your first time using Realm Connect.
7. Select ‘Sign In’ if you are logging in again.
8. Enter your email address.
9. Create a password.
10. Log in with your email address and new password and select, ‘Keep me logged in on this device’.
11. If you forgot your password, select, “Forgot your password’ and follow the email instructions. It is very helpful to select ‘Keep me logged in on this device.’

How do I add my photo to the directory? (training video)

HOW TO ADD MY PHOTO TO THE REALM-CONNECT DIRECTORY

1. Log in to Realm-Connect.
2. In the upper left-hand corner, look for a small circle, and click on it.
3. Select ‘My Profile’ from the drop-down menu.
4. Select the pencil icon.
5. Select ‘New Profile Photo’.
6. Select a photo from your photos app on your phone.
7. Select ‘Save’.

How do I find someone’s address? (training video)

HOW TO FIND SOMEONE’S ADDRESS IN REALM-CONNECT

1. Log in to Realm-Connect.
2. From the bottom menu bar, select the ‘… More’ icon.
3. Select ‘Directory’.
4. In the Search field, enter the first two to three alphas on a Glen Martian’s first name, followed by a ‘space’ followed by the first two or three alphas of the Glen Martian’s last name.

How does Realm differ from Connect? (training video)

HOW REALM DIFFERS FROM CONNECT

1. Realm is the term used to describe the Glen Mar “library” or database. Connect is “the librarian” or the vehicle through which you as a Glen Martian can access the library to find specific information.

How do I find my Annual Giving Statement? (training video)

HOW TO FIND YOUR ANNUAL GIVING STATEMENT

1. Log in to Realm-Connect.
2. From the bottom menu bar, select the ‘… More’ icon.
3. Select ‘Giving’.
4. To see your giving, select the ‘Gifts’ tab, to see your pledges, select ‘Pledges’.

HOW TO SERVE AT GLEN MAR CHURCH

1. Log in to Realm-Connect.
2. From the menu, select ‘Serving’. Here you can see serving specific to you.
   1. Your Serving Profile
   2. Role Preferences
   3. Your Assignments
   4. Your Teams
3. To look for Opportunities, select the ‘Opportunities’ tab.
4. Select ‘Browse by Role’.
5. From the list of serving opportunities, select the ones that you would be willing to serve regularly. Remember, you can indicate your preferences on frequency on the Serving tab.
