Glen Mar youth and adults have multiple opportunities to participate in a mission trip this summer.  There will be two very different week-long experiences allowing participants to help build and repair homes, feed the hungry, help those in need, but most of all to build relationships with homeowners, host organizations, local communities, and fellow Glen Mar members.  We’re very serious when we refer to these trips as “relational ministry with construction on the side.” 

The trips include: 

Windsor NC: current 8th grade and older. June 22-28, $300 per youth or adult male, $200/adult female (age 25+), $50 per current confirmand.  $50 deduction for three or more family members. We will be doing minor home repairs. 

Baltimore, MD: current 6th grade and older, July 21-25, $125 per participant, $50 for current confirmand. Participants will do a variety of ministry activities (different each day), including working at soup kitchens, clothing closets, food banks, kids’ camps, urban farms, etc. We will start and end at Glen Mar each day, but everyone will return home each evening.
