Steps of Hope – Sunday, December 4

Learn how you can change the lives of children in Guatemala through the Steps of Hope Christian Learning Resource Center. Director Jessalyn Waddell de Mena will be in the Gathering Place on Sunday, December 4 after the 9:30 am service to share about this mission and how you can get involved. Wish Upon A Star – Drop Off Deadline is Sunday, December 4

Thank you for the generous outpouring of support for about 30 families with clothing, food, and toys to show them that the spirit of Christ is alive this Christmas! Breakfast with Santa – Saturday, December 10, from 9:00 – 11:00 am

The Girl Scout Service Unit 660, Troop 10179 invites your family to Breakfast With Santa at Glen Mar Church. This family-friendly event will include a pancake bar, crafts, and photo opportunity with Santa. There will also be an opportunity for little ones to create a letter for Santa that he will take back to the North Pole. The event is FREE and open to the public. We just ask everyone to register/RSVP to assist the Girl Scouts with planning their service event.

Youth Christmas Party – Sunday, December 11, from 6:00 – 8:30 pm

Dinner, fun, and the annual crazy gift exchange. Bring a $5 gift. RSVP to youth@glenmarumc.org.

Christmas Poinsettias – Order by Sunday, December 18

Honor a loved one this Christmas by ordering a poinsettia. Cost is $30.00 per plant and envelopes are available on the cafe in the Gathering Place. Order deadline is December 18. For more information or to place an order, contact Mary Ellen.

Lunch Bunch Christmas Potluck – Tuesday, December 20 at 11:30 am

The Lunch Bunch invites you to join us for our Christmas Potluck. Bring your favorite dish or dessert to share. Enjoy lunch with us along with our special guest pianist! We meet on the third Tuesday of each month. The Lunch Bunch is for people 55 and older and we meet in the lower lobby.

Financial Peace University – January 12, 2023 on Thursdays

If you’ve ever felt like you just can’t get in control of your money, you’re not alone. You’d be surprised how many people you know are struggling just like you. But it’s time for that struggle to end—starting when you take a Financial Peace University class. In just nine lessons, you’ll learn biblical and commonsense ways of handling money.
