Chili Pick Up Correction

Last week’s bulletin had an error regarding the pick up of chili purchased for the Bridges Chili & Challenge. Please pick up your chili at the Bridges office at: 9520 Berger Road, Suite 311, Columbia, MD 21046. Chili purchasing and donations are now closed, however the auction is still open until 8:00 pm Sunday, October 10. Join the auction.

Jewels for Hope: Collection Deadline

We are looking for gently-worn scarves and jewelry to sell at this event. Kindly drop off your items any time before October 22, 2021 at the Glen Mar Church office Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm or at HopeWorks of Howard County, 977A Patuxent Woods Drive, Suite 300, Columbia, MD 21046 – Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. Sleep in Heavenly Peace Made 20 Beds!

That’s right. Twenty kids don’t have to sleep on the floor now. You can help by donating new single sheet sets and comforters as well as monetary donations by Oct 31 at Glen Mar. Volunteers are also needed to help deliver the beds to the families. Please contact Dan Kagey.

Journey to Bethlehem – Dec 2-5

Save the date! Because you are invited – the first weekend of December – to “Journey to Bethlehem” a FREE outdoor theatrical adventure for the whole family. You will see live animals, Roman soldiers, shepherds, angels, and a variety of scenes from a biblical marketplace. Read more.
