Glen Mar is hosting “A Celebration of Hymns”, a free musical event at 7:00 pm on May 18 in the Spirit Center. The event will feature Eric Sayers, along with Glen Mar’s Sanctuary Choir and Covenant Ringers. In the first half, Eric will play a variety of hymn arrangements by popular artists such as Joseph Martin, Joel Raney, and Mark Hayes, some of which are on his CD, “A River Flowing.” In the second half, Eric will conduct our choir in singing some of his choral anthems, and Covenant Ringers will also play some pieces, including a new arrangement for bells that Eric wrote for this occasion!
