Pastor Dembeck will be coming to us from Halthorpe Relay UMC and will begin serving at Glen Mar on July 1.  He completed coursework for his doctor of ministry from Duke Divinity School, and he will be working on his thesis as he begins his time at Glen Mar. He is a Duke Basketball fan, but as we were able to show grace and accept Pastor Mandy’s love of Duke Basketball, so we can show grace to Pastor Chris!  He likes to fish and loves Star Wars.

We look forward to inviting him, his wife Laura and three children Ava, Sam and Charlotte.

His ministerial gifts are preaching, teaching and loving people right where they are in life.  Helping them to walk with God.  We are looking forward to meeting him!
