Greetings Glen Mar,
I hope you’ve had a great week! It was so good to be back in worship with you all on Sunday. Thank you for the prayers, encouragement, and kindness as I continue recovering from my procedure. I’m healing well and right on schedule. Prayer works.
Speaking of prayer, I want to encourage you to consider being part of our upcoming 24-7 Week of Prayer, which begins Sunday, May 31, and continues until our 9:30 am Commitment Sunday worship service on June 7. Throughout that week, our chapel will become a prayer room where we can spend intentional time praying for the future of Glen Mar and discerning where God is leading us as we rise – TOGETHER AS ONE.
Here are some examples of what a 24-7 Prayer Room looks like:

I hope you’ll prayerfully consider signing up for one hour during the week. During your time slot, it will simply be you, your family, or a close friend spending time with God. Children are absolutely welcome, and there will be prayer activities available for them as well.
My hope is simply that we would slow down long enough to pray, listen, and seek God together as a church.
You can sign up for a prayer hour here.
Also, don’t forget that our rise – TOGETHER AS ONE stewardship campaign officially kicks off this Sunday, May 17. Following both worship services, we’ll hold short campaign presentations in the Youth Lounge at 10:45 am and 12:05 pm. I really hope you’ll make plans to attend one of them.
If Sunday doesn’t work for you, we’ll also offer two additional opportunities:
There is a lot to be excited about in the life of Glen Mar right now, and I’m grateful to be walking this season together with you.
Until then, keep praying, keep seeking, and I hope to see you Sunday.
Yours in Christ,
Pastor Chris
