From out of the Social Justice Group a new group has emerged – Glen Mar’s Reconciling group named ALPHABET SOUP. Can you DIG (Diversity, Inclusion at Glen Mar) it? Reconciling Ministries are committed to achieving LGBTQ+ justice and full inclusion in the life and leadership of The United Methodist Church, both in policy and in practice. We are forming connections to the BWARM (Baltimore-Washington Area Reconciling United Methodists) and Grace UMC in Baltimore. Starting in May the group members have attended several BWARM meetings and the Baltimore Pride Parade in June. We meet every third Tuesday of the month. We are excited to welcome members who want to be open and support members in the LGBTQ+ community.
