Do you enjoy knitting and crocheting or would you like to learn? If so, we need you in our Dancing Needles group. This group makes prayer shawls that are given to people in hospitals and those in need of special care as a reminder that others care and are praying for them. The group is also making baby blankets for our newborns and scarves for our armed forces.

Giving gift cards this Christmas? Glen Mar’s gift card program is back in full operation with sales in the Gathering Place after the 9:30 am service. There are over 80 brands available in the inventory, while hundreds of other brands can be ordered and received within a week.

On October 2, 2021, Glen Mar Church hosted a Blessing of the Animals service. The community was invited to bring their pets, large and small, furry or scaled, for this special blessings and to celebrate the love and joy animals bring to our lives.
The Glen Mar Summer Concert Series has been approved to receive a $3,964 grant from the Howard County Arts Council in 2022.
The concert series is an outreach program that offers free concerts for people in Central Maryland and beyond. It features nationally and internationally known artists performing a variety of music. All concerts in the series are held at Glen Mar Church.
