Fill My Cup

Dear Glen Mar Friends,

I hope you are enjoying our Epiphany series—6 Stone Jars, Abundant Life in Christ. I feel “filled up” with the hope of Jesus every time I look around and see what God is doing through Glen Mar Church! They are still counting as I write this, but I do believe we had over 1,000 people for our MLK Day of Service. People of all ages and races and descriptions filled God’s house at Glen Mar with hope, joy, and love, in Jesus’ name. I’m grateful!

I find myself singing the “Fill My Cup” song that we have been singing each week as I drive about, and as I do my office work. I’m reminded as I sing that truly, in so many ways, “our cup runneth over.” But we are filled up with God’s love, power, and provision so that we can share those things with others. Here at Glen Mar, we say, we are “blessed to be a blessing,” and we live that out every day. Now more than ever, the world needs our love, our courage, and our commitment to follow Christ.

Thank you so much for all you do and all you are, for God and for Glen Mar. We could not change lives and spread the love of Jesus without folks like you. Your giving and your dedication to the gospel make everything possible.

I truly hope and pray that you will join us this spring. Our Lenten journey will involve “Meeting Jesus at the Table” and there’s a place reserved just for YOU.

See you in church.

Pastor Mandy
