Join us for a vibrant and informative Health Fair at Glen Mar Church on Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to this free event. Discover a wide array of health-related services such as student immunizations, vision and hearing screenings, blood pressure and BMI assessment. Our professional health care partners are eager to share their insights. Bring your friends and family along to enjoy the event filled with valuable knowledge and free screenings. Your journey to a healthier lifestyle begins here! Parents, please bring your children’s vaccine records.
Planned Activities:
- Student Immunizations (18 & younger):
- Varicella (Chickenpox): required for K and up
- Tdap: required for 7th grade and up
- Meningococcal ACWY: required for 7th grade & up
- HPV: recommended for children 11 years & up
- Meningococcal B: recommended for children 16 years and older, required by many colleges
- COVID-19: recommended for children 6 months and older
- Hearing screening (pre-K & up)
- Vision screening (pre-K & up)
- Blood pressure & BMI assessment
If you would like to volunteer, we need your help! We are seeking volunteers who can serve as welcoming ambassadors, ushering attendees through the event and fostering a friendly and inviting environment.
