Hey D.C.!

Glen Mar recently hired our new Minister of Youth and Mission and D.C. Veale began work on April 8. If the name sounds familiar it’s because D.C. previously worked at Glen Mar from 1998 – 2019 in the areas of Youth, Young Adults and Missions.

Who’s D.C.? A native of western Pennsylvania, D.C. grew up in Johnstown and attended Penn State University. After college he began serving as a youth minister at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Cathedral in Harrisburg, PA. Subsequently he served at two churches in Florida before moving to the United Methodist Church by accepting a youth ministry position in LaGrange, GA. Eventually, seeking to be closer to family, he moved to Maryland.

D.C. is grateful and humbled at the opportunity to serve again with the awesome disciples and wonderful servants of Glen Mar. He is passionate about helping people of all ages grow in their knowledge and appreciation of God, and encouraging everyone to seek to serve others in a grateful response to God’s blessings in our lives. Please look for an opportunity to introduce yourself or reintroduce yourself to D.C.
