Glen Mar’s Social Justice Group is partnering with Capitol Hill UMC in Washington, D.C. to provide hygiene kits and other supplies to migrants who are sent by bus from Arizona and Texas. Capitol Hill UMC offers hygiene supplies and clothing to migrants at their walk-in center twice a week. 

Items being collected:

• Men’s and Women’s Underwear (new)
• Men’s and Women’s Socks (new)
• Backpacks (new or gently used)
• Hygiene Kits (full kit in a zip-lock bag or any of the following items)
  • Soap
  • Deodorant
  • Toothpaste (travel)
  • Shampoo (travel)
  • Lotion(travel)
  • Razor
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Tissue Pack
  • Nail Clippers

The collection runs through the month of June. Drop off donations in the Gathering Place. Monetary donations are also welcome.
