Glen Mar member Lola Barrack is turning 100 years old and continues in a weekly Bible study.

Lola and her husband Carroll came to Glen Mar approximately 32 years ago. He passed away in 2015, and she continued at Glen Mar, joining the Thursday Morning Women’s Bible study group. Once Covid hit this group went to Zoom and continues to this day on Zoom. As we can see, one is never too old to join a Bible study!

Lola moved to an assisted living location in Beaufort, South Carolina, near to her daughter Pam. Lola gets on her IPad each week from her assisted living location to join us with no assistance from anyone at the facility. Her words to our group each week are “It’s so good to see everyone today.”

Lola will turn 100 on August 16, 2026.  If you are interested in sending Lola a card, please contact the church office.
