Glen Mar’s Wish Upon a Star ministry is gearing up to give you that opportunity again this year! For Christmas, Wish Upon a Star intends to assist about 30 families with clothes, food, and toys, while also providing support for teenagers at Everstand (formerly Board of Child Care), homeless families at Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center, and families in Guatemala through Steps of Hope. Starting Sunday, November 2, this is how you can participate:

• Go to the Wish Upon a Star table in the Gathering Place before or after worship services and choose a gift (or gifts) that you would like to purchase. Or
• Go online to sign up for gifts through SignUpGenius — you’ll have the option of signing up for toys, clothes, or other gift requests. Or
• Give a monetary donation that will go to purchase gift cards for families. (This option is new this year and replaces the option of buying gift cards.)

You can give a monetary donation either at the donations table in the Gathering Place or through SignupGenius. We encourage you to sign up and donate through November 23 and return the gifts to Glen Mar by noon on November 30. Given your generous support for Wish Upon a Star in the past, we look forward to working with you this year to make even more wishes come true!
