Sunday morning Kid’s ministry is all about the KIDS! Having fun, FEELING SAFE, building friendships, while learning about God. During the pandemic Children’s ministry has not missed a beat, by using a wide variety of teaching tools and methods such as: video, zoom, outside gatherings, kit bags and post cards. The children’s ministry laity staff has continued to connect with our kids. October 18 was our first day back in the kids’ wing for our regular Sunday morning teaching time. This time has been an adventure with parents and kids smiling through their eyes and under their masks.
Join us Sunday mornings during the 9:30 or 11:00 services. If you haven’t already, register your child(ren) now!
Pathfinders: At 9:30 a.m. Elementary School children in grades 1-5 dive deep into the Bible through a variety of hands-on activities, including drama, science, games, stories, video, crafts, and small group discussion. Elementary Sunday School classes meet on the lower level of the building in the kid’s wing.
Check it Out: At 11:00 a.m. Elementary School children in grades 1-5 begin by worshiping with their families in the Spirit Center and are dismissed by the worship leader for their own special time to learn about God, “Check it Out”. Learning through games, drama, and action, we have a great time at Check it Out.
Sprouts: At 9:30 & 11:00 Preschool and Kindergarten children learn about the BIG Picture of the Bible through fun, hands on lessons. A parent-driven program, children will leave their class with an understanding that God loves them, and Jesus is their best buddy. The Sprouts meet upstairs in the Early Learning Center Wing.
Nursery Care: At 9:30 and 11:00 every Sunday morning is offered for children too young to be part of our Sunday morning children’s programs. Located in the Early Learning Center Wing.
Family Friendly Zone: At 9:30 and 11:00 The chapel will be open for families and little ones who need to move their legs during worship. The service will be on the big screen for parents to enjoy.
