Dear Glen Mar friends,
Journey to Bethlehem is shaping up nicely for our 15th year! God is good and people are so excited, in the community and here at Glen Mar, to share this life changing event with our neighbors!
Emails are going out with roles for Journey to Bethlehem to those of you who have signed up in some way, shape or form. The Sign Up Genius is disabled so that we can concentrate on the changes we need to make in order to make the story all come together! If you haven’t heard about your role, you will very soon. Look for an email from Lynne and me!

- Thursday, November 16 ~ 5:30 – 6:45 pm
- Sunday, November 19 ~ 9:00 am – 12:30 pm
- Sunday, November 26 ~ 9:00 am – 12:30 pm
- Monday, November 27 ~ 5:30 – 7:30 pm

- Wednesday, November 29 ~ 5:30 – 7:30 pm
Looking to this weekend, Friday at noon we’ll have a Zoom Coffee with Mandy where I’ll share the results of our latest stewardship/capital campaign and where we are on our mortgage. Click here to register and get the link. We’ll be recording it and sharing the recording also if you can’t be there.
Friday night, we will have Dan Eschliman’s Concert right here at Glen Mar at 7 pm. Admission is free, and we will take donations to benefit our partners in Haiti. It’s going to be an amazing night of powerful Christian music! Y’all come!
For Sunday worship, we’ll gather at the table of JOY, looking at what it means to “make God’s joy complete.”
I also wanted to share that we are in prayer for Sandy Stutz and the Dahya family on the recent passing of Danny Stutz. Danny Stutz’s memorial service will be held on Saturday November 18 at noon at Harry H. Witzke’s Funeral Home. Here is the link to Danny’s obituary. The family will receive visitors from 10-12 before the service at Witzke’s
See you in Church,
Pastor Mandy
PS If God is calling you to make Glen Mar part of your estate plan, Pastor Andy will be at a Gathering Place table with more information about how to do that. If Glen Mar is important to you now, what a powerful way to show your faith and priorities with your estate. Thank you to those who have already made these plans, and let us know about them! We are so grateful.
