Dear Glen Mar friends,

On behalf of your pastors and staff, I want to thank everyone for their expressions of love for October’s Clergy (and Staff) Appreciation Month. It is our joy to be in ministry with each of you and we are so grateful God has brought our lives together!

Now is the time to sign up for our 5-week Advent study (The Journey, by Adam Hamilton, newly revised)! I’ll be preaching a series along with it, so, while it is not required, if you are looking for a way to make Advent special and deeply engage with the Christmas story, this is a great way to do it. Sign up here by 5 pm on Sunday.

Now is also the time to gather what we need for Journey to Bethlehem! Thank you to all who are participating, planning and praying for this great event. Share with friends! Invite your neighbors! There are many spots available for guests at https://glenmarumc.org/journey-to-bethlehem-signups/.

In terms of supplies, we could use:

• Wooden bowls or wooden pitchers/serving things (for mini-marketplace)
• 2 more 100 ft extension cords (14 gauge or higher)
• 2 gallon or bigger plastic jugs (for securing pop ups)
• Large new bags of instant light charcoal
• Clothes line or parachute cord-weight string (to secure pop ups)
