Dear Glen Mar friends,

Thank you does not begin to express Eric’s and my gratitude for you. We have been truly loved through our years together and especially in the last several weeks as you all have sent cards and gifts and well-wishes to us. The SPRC “love recipe box” is a treasure, and the playlist is on repeat when I go ANYWHERE in my car. It fills my heart with such joy and thankfulness for you, and for your love and prayers, which Eric and I feel all the time.

Truly, God is good, and I miss you already…and I also already know Chris is excitedly anticipating getting to know you and to join the Glen Mar family. Please continue to pray for him and for his family and for us in our transition.

Bob Henry, our Financial Secretary, tells me that 4 weeks after Commitment Sunday is the window that is most important as we pull together to fund the upcoming 12 months in mission and ministry…I know it’s summer and things are in transition, but I do want to thank folks who have already shared their giving plans and commitments with us, and those who took a “step up” in their giving to help those who cannot do so. Please give all you can, so that Chris, and Glen Mar, can start this new season strongly. I’m proud to say that Eric and I will fulfill our pledge in full as of the end of June. We feel it’s the best investment of what God has given to us that we have ever made.

I’m so proud to be a Glen Martian, and want you to know that Eric and I will always care for and treasure you and will pray for you, and for Glen Mar, in all the years to come. “What’s that noise coming from NC? That’s Mandy and Eric, cheering encouragement for Glen Mar Church!”. What a blessing that God has brought our lives together!
