SPOTLIGHT MINISTRIES:
- Good Friday Cantata – Friday, April 3, 7:30 pm. Please join us as we observe Good Friday with a special worship service featuring a presentation of The Crucifixion by John Stainer, a powerful choral work that portrays the events of the Passion of Christ. The presentation will feature soloists along with a 50-member choir and orchestra. All are welcome!
- Easter Eggstravaganza – Saturday, April 4, 10:00-11:30 am. Join us for an egg hunt, crafts and other activities! Sign up or stop by the table in the Gathering Place. Volunteers are also needed to help support the event! Contact Julie to let her know how you can help!
OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE:
- Christ Church’s Interfaith Refugee Ministry Needs You – This interfaith coalition helps primarily Afghan refugee families in Howard County. For more info and to connect with them, email the Social Justice Team.

- Christian Summer Camps – The Baltimore Washington Conference offers sleep-away summer camps for 3rd through 12th graders at several nearby camps. Many Glen Mar kids and youth have enjoyed these camps over the years. Learn more here.
- VBS 2026 Rainforest Falls – Join us July 13-17th for a week of adventure exploring what it means to be rooted in a relationship with God! YOUTH NEWS:
- Palm Sunday – On Sunday, March 29, there will be NO Sunday morning classes for youth (Fuse, Confirmation, Rooted). Youth are invited to join their families for worship! There will be NO Youth Group that evening.
- Easter Sunday – On Sunday, April 5, there will be NO Sunday morning classes for youth. Youth are invited to join their families for worship! There will be NO Youth Group that evening.
- Summer Mission Trips – We are offering two mission trips this summer. Home repairs with Carolina Rebuilding Ministry, June 21-27, for youth and adults currently in 8th grade and older. $300/person with discounts for women, confirmands, and 3rd or more family members. Urban ministry during Baltimore Mission Week July 20-24, for youth and adults currently in 6th grade and older. $125/person with discounts for adults and confirmands. Scholarships are available. MUSIC MINISTRY:

STEPHEN MINISTRY:
- Stephen Ministers Are Care-Givers, God Is the Cure-Giver. The role of Stephen Ministers is to give care. They listen, empathize, encourage, pray, and provide emotional and spiritual support on a weekly basis to hurting people for as long as the need persists. God works in and through them to bring hope and healing. If you are feeling lonely, experiencing a crisis, struggling through a difficult time, or simply stressed by everyday life, consider the help of Stephen Minister. EARLY LEARNING CENTER:
- Glen Mar’s Early Learning Center – serves children from infants through preschool, and we are currently welcoming families for the 2026–2027 school year! If you know a family who may be looking for care, spread the word!
