Lunch Bunch is a group of “seasoned citizens” (55 and up) who meet on the third Tuesday of each month at 11:30 A.M. in the lower lobby for fellowship, fun and, of course, lunch.

Glen Mar’s Confirmation Class will be participating in the 30 Hour Famine on February 24 and 25. The goal is to go without food for 30 hours to fight world hunger. While fasting, our confirmands will learn about the challenges of poverty while growing closer to God and each other.

Planning for this year’s Cold Weather Shelter proved to be a challenge for Grassroots. Given ongoing community concerns about the risk of a COVID outbreak, many local congregations were hesitant to offer to host guests in their building. At the same time, funding for hotel rooms was uncertain at best.

A huge thank you to all who worked behind the scenes, in the scenes, on a pony, hauling wood, filling Margaret’s shoes, doing what we do every year for our community. We did it!
