This Sunday, we will be CELEBRATING our Commitment Sunday—the ways God is calling all of us to GROW as disciples of Jesus, including and especially in our giving. The giving of folks like you is the reason that we can do EVERYTHING we do—from worship to music to small groups to service. Because of your giving, we can have an Early Learning Center, pay our pastors and staff, and do every act of service and mission that we do at Glen Mar. The General Conference of the United Methodist Church is the legislative body for our world-wide denomination, and they recently concluded their 2-week meeting in Charlotte NC. Many of you may have seen coverage of some of the work that was done there.
