February 25 & 26 The Confirmation Class is doing the 30 Hour Famine to raise money to fight world hunger. From 12:30 pm Friday, February 25 to 6:30 pm Saturday the 26th, they will go without food for 30 hours while learning about the challenges of poverty. One hundred thirty poverty-stricken children around the world will receive a shoebox filled with fun gifts, school supplies, and hygiene items, thanks to Glen Mar’s participation this year in Operation Christmas Child (OCC) – a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse, a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization.
